Descripción
Sumario:Several texts of ancient Christian literature associate the crucifixion with an inversion of attitude, or of the nature of things. The idea which is usually expressed says that one should make right what is left, exalt what is low, and put in front what is behind. This idea appears in the apocryphal Acts of Peter. Two traditions have been combined there: a word of Jesus and the crucifixion of Peter. This paper presents and examines the development of this motif.
