| Summary: | Today, works on the historical Jesus take the place of the Lives of Jesus. They are critical lives of Jesus, however, which complete the content of the Gospels and question the historicity of some of their passages. Since historical study is indispensable for the presentation of Jesus, the unspecialized reader should take into account the often implicit historiographical assumptions that guide the composition of these works. The reader should also be aware that the current historical method is not the only, definitive, and final way to access the history of Jesus. Las obras sobre el Jesús histórico ocupan hoy el lugar de las Vidas de Jesús. Pero son vidas de Jesús críticas que completan el contenido de los evangelios y ponen en duda la realidad histórica de algunos de sus pasajes. Como el examen histórico es imprescindible para proponer a Jesús, el lector no especializado debe tener en cuenta los presupuestos historiográficos, a menudo implícitos, que guían la composición de esas obras. Debe conocer además que el método histórico actual no es la forma única, definitiva y última de acceder a la historia de Jesús. |
