Sumario:The article discusses the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on planned excavations in 2020 and challenges and safety measures by dig directors. Topics include decision of dig directors to cancel or downsize their digs due to the pandemic; how the Hebrew University of Jerusalem followed health-safety protocol in which it limited the time they dug and the number of participants almost from Hebrew University students; and information on the Dig Sites 2021 including Abel Beth Maacah and Majduliyya.
