In order to develop a convincing Christological theory, it is necessary to define Jesus’s humanity precisely. In the following, we will, first, reconstruct how this was attempted in the early church’s conciliar statements. Secondly, with recourse to exegetical research, potential deepenings are to be named. Against this backdrop, features of the current Anglophone Christological debate shall be surveyed. |
