Description
Summary:The Letter to the Romans is the culmination of a long reflection, the result of the missionary, pastoral and theological trajectory of the Apostle Paul. For his rereading, Míguez places the text in the whole of Pauline thought and separates it into four pericopes (Romans 8:1-5; 8:6-17; 8:18-27; and 8:28-39), which are linked together to conclude that “nothing can separate us from the love of God”. It concludes that freedom and justice are seen as the linchpins of the whole Pauline theology, which affirms the gift of the spirit of life, in confrontation with oppressive and unjust imperial ideology.
