There are difficulties in the events in the Massoretic Text of chs 32-45 of Jeremiah. The common explanation is that these are due to the slovenly organization of different redactional levels. This article, on the contrary, attempts to demonstrate that a synchronie study reveals that the arrangements of these chapters, and in particular the placement of Jer 45, is due to the strategy of the narrator. | ||
