The suggested minimal emendation for Qoh 11:7, exchange in the position of the two adjacent words וטוב and לעינים, results in a balanced and eminently meaningful verse. Its concrete sense, supported by 1 Sam 14:25-27, fits the context of the preceding verse, and both verses naturally belong to the larger Qoh 11:3-7 unit.\n4207 Nous suggérons, pour Qoh 11, 7, la lecture ומתוק האור לעינים וטוב לראות את־השמש, «Et la douceur – c’est la lumière pour les yeux, et bon pour voir sous la lumière du jour». On peut paraphraser ainsi: «La douceur éclaire (avive) les yeux (les revigore), ce qui est un avantage pour mieux voir quand le soleil est levé». La petite émendation suggérée, l’interversion des deux mots, וטוב et לעינים, conduit à un verset équilibré et clair. Son sens concret, appuyé par 1 Sa 14, 25-27, convient au contexte des versets précédents, et les deux versets s’intègrent bien dans le contexte plus large de 11, 3-7.\n4207 \n4207 | ||
