Résumé:A sociological analysis of a text should take care lest the text is lost from sight. In this paper concepts from the sociology of knowledge are used to analyse the indicated text for its yield on sociological information t could facilitate the understanding of the text. The paper has two main parts: firstly, it gives an exposition of the theoretical issues within both the discipline of sociology and the subfield of the sociology of knowledge; secondly, these concepts are applied to the text, and the data that result from this application interpreted. Some possible inferences are tentatively drawn from the result.
