Im Mittelhochdeutschen wirken sie jedoch aus heutiger Sicht oft etwas unbeholfen und fast naiv in ihren frommen Christianisierungsbemühungen. Bei näherer Betrachtung erkennt man jedoch, dass es zwei Arten dieser Texte gibt: Die einen sind tatsächlich Übersetzungen, die das Original recht genau wiedergeben; die anderen sind eher Studientexte, die nicht nur die beiden hiesigen Übersetzungen der Psalmen, sondern auch die zeitgenössischen Kommentare berücksichtigen. | ||
