At least we are confronted with a preform for the well known Asia. Während der laufenden Grabungs- und Restaurierungsarbeiten im Gelände des früheren Totentempels Amenophis' III. in Theben-West sind Listenfragmente mit Toponymen aus dem kleinasiastischen Raum gefunden worden, darunter Ionien. Dazu können einige weitere Identifikationen, wie u.a. mit Adana und Tarsus in Kilikien, sowie eine qualifizierte Vorstufe des Namens Asia zur Diskussion gestellt werden. |
