His article, “Rethinking the Relationship between Deuteronomy and the Deuteronomistic History,” challenges any notion of the Deuteronomistic History as a passive or slavish implementation of the legal corpus of Deuteronomy. Levinson draws attention to the methodological contributions of Knoppers. |
