Although her activity is always reported within the couple she forms with Aquilas, the fact remains that she is an eminent figure in the early Church. Indeed, not only did she appear to be a woman committed to spreading the Gospel, carrying out multiple tasks at the same time, but she also played a leading role in building up the communities. In order to understand the originality of her profile, we need to take a closer look at the data that testify to this singularity: her precedence in the couple’s relationship, her leadership within the nascent Christian movement, her role as a teacher-theologian, and overall, the importance of her missionary activity, which makes her one of Paul’s most valuable collaborators. In the dynamics of the first Christian mission, she is in many ways a key figure and an exceptional woman. | ||

Bien que son activité soit toujours notifiée au sein du couple qu’elle forme avec Aquilas, il n’en reste pas moins qu’elle campe une figure éminente de l’Église primitive. De fait, elle apparaît non seulement comme une femme engagée dans la diffusion de l’Évangile, menant de front des tâches multiples, mais elle assume un rôle de premier plan dans l’édification des communautés. Afin d’appréhender l’originalité de son profil, il convient de se pencher plus avant sur les données qui témoignent de cette singularité : sa préséance dans la mention du couple, son leadership au sein du mouvement chrétien naissant, son rôle d’enseignante-théologienne, et globalement l’importance de son activité missionnaire qui en fait l’une des plus précieuses collaboratrices de Paul. Dans la dynamique de la première mission chrétienne, elle représente à de nombreux égards une personnalité clef et une figure féminine d’exception. | ||
