| Summary: | The purpose of this article is to present Schleiemarcher’s conception of Christian morality. Ethics, both philosophical and Christian, were a constant preoccupation of his thinking. In order to present it, this contribution first recalls Schleiermacher’s organisational structure of knowledge, then considers philosophical ethics within this system, and thirdly situates the place of theology. In the fourth stage, the relationship and differences between Schleiermacher’s 'doctrine of faith' and his christian morality are outlined, before presenting the relationship between philosophical ethics and Christian moral doctrine. The sixth section describes the method and structure adopted by Schleiermacher’s Christliche Sitte, which is little known in French-speaking circles. The final section identifies the fundamental lines of thought, in the light of this philosopher, on the relationship between Christian morality and philosophical ethics, as well as its links with fundamental statements of christian faith. Le présent article se propose de présenter la conception de la morale chrétienne selon Schleiermacher. L’éthique, autant philosophique que chrétienne, a été une préoccupation constante de sa réflexion. Pour présenter celle-ci, cette contribution rappelle dans un premier temps l’organigramme du savoir chez Schleiermacher, considère ensuite l’éthique philosophique au sein de ce système, pour situer dans un troisième temps la place de la théologie. Dans un quatrième temps, elle expose les relations et les différences entre la «doctrine de la foi» de Schleiermacher et sa morale chrétienne, avant de présenter les rapports entre l’éthique philosophique et la morale chrétienne. La sixième étape de ce parcours décrit la méthode et la structure adoptées par la Christliche Sitte de Schleiermacher, peu connue dans le milieu francophone. La dernière section repère des lignes fondamentales pour penser, à la lumière de ce philosophe, les relations entre la morale chrétienne et l’éthique philosophique ainsi que ses liens avec des énoncés fondamentaux de la foi chrétienne. |
