| Riepilogo: | Islamic worldview construction emanates from essentially two sources: The Quran and the Prophetic tradition referred to as the Sunnah. This we may regard as a form of direct hermeneutics, in which the holder of faith may receive his/her value orientation through direct interaction with the primary sources. There is also an indirect hermeneutical tradition and influence which casts a pervasive influence that has its origins from classical exegesis, theology and jurisprudence (such as the tafsir sources) or modern scholarly interpreters and activist intellectuals. |
