| Summary: | Qoheleth’s apparent lack of internal coherence was not lost on the ancient rabbis, and is still a recurring issue in modern scholarship. Attempts at both structural and thematic reconstructions of the shape of the Ecclesiastes text are popular amongst modern scholars, but no real agreement has been reached. Scholars are divided: there are those who assume a self-contained intellectual work with a progressive inner structure, and those who believe that Qoheleth is a loose collection of separate units. Le manque apparent de cohérence dans Qohéleth n’a pas échappé aux anciens rabbins, et reste une question récurrente dans la recherche moderne. Des essais de reconstruction structurelle et thématique de la forme du texte de l’Ecclésiaste sont certes populaires parmi les chercheurs modernes, mais aucun véritable accord n’a été atteint. Certains envisagent une oeuvre unifiée avec une structure interne progressive, alors que d’autres chercheurs considèrent que Qohéleth est une collection lâche d’unités distinctes. Der offensichtliche Mangel an innerer Kohärenz bei Kohelet blieb den alten Gelehrten nicht unbemerkt und ist immer noch eine wiederkehrende Frage in der neuzeitlichen Wissenschaft. Versuche einer Rekonstruktion der strukturellen oder thematischen Gestalt des Kohelet-Buches sind bei modernen Wissenschaftlern beliebt, ohne dass eine Einigung erzielt würde. Die Sichtweisen sind geteilt: Es gibt diejenigen, die ein geschlossenes gedankliches Werk mit einer fortschreitenden inneren Struktur annehmen, und diejenigen, die das Kohelet-Buch für eine lose Sammlung getrennter Einheiten halten. |
