Sumario:The article discusses the gospel reading for April 7, 2013, the second Sunday of Easter. The passage deals with Saint John's description of the Pentecost and of the doubting Saint Thomas, which is said to indicate that asking questions about one's faith is acceptable and part of growing in Christ. The resurrection of Christ and the experiences of Orcadian author George Mackay Brown as described in the book "George Mackay Brown: The Wound and the Gift," by Ron Ferguson, are also compared.
