The revision of the decipherment of the inscription 3 from Khirbet el-Qôm brings its share of information in continuity with the blessing formula of the messages of Kuntillet 'Ajrud. It permits giving to 'šrh the meaning «shrine» well attested in Phoenician and in Aramaic, and to revise some biblical uses of the word. |
