Summary: | In Job 12,6 the camps of robbers could be peaceful, and transgressors of God’s laws could be confident, yet both kinds of persons might be quite miserable. Thus, Job 12,6c must contain the component that optimizes the advantageous condition of these wicked. It is being suggested that the optimizing component is naturally אשֶֹר “happiness”, which is incorrectly represented in the MT by the problematic לְאֲשֶר . |
