Description
Summary:The Perfume of the Gospel seeks to present some of Jesus' encounters with women. As the title suggests, some of these are characterized by the presence of perfume, an element charged with connotations and a rich symbolic content, open to many interpretations depending on the context. Women are the protagonists of this book. Jesus openly sides with them and, sharing both their bodily and spiritual pain, generates from within himself a new current of humanity. Thus, he changes the hierarchy of the values proposed by society and transcends cases of discrimination with his loving attitude and through his relations of solidarity and equality with people. The book concludes with an original encounter-not between Jesus and a woman, but rather between Jesus and Sophia.
