Furthermore it is discussed whether these portraits indicated certain social roles. Der Beitrag untersucht eine Gruppe weiblicher funerärer Darstellungen, die unbedeckt dargestellt sind. Es wird diskutiert, ob diese Darstellungen auf das Alter und eine bestimmte Lebensphase hinweisen sollten, eine Eigenschaft, die in den palmyrenischen Grabreliefs fast nicht vorhanden ist.
