Die Ausgrabung der Felskammernekropole von Khirbat Yajuz, Nordjordanien, erbrachte neben anderen Kleinfunden auch mehr als 360 Perlen und Anhänger spätrömischer und byzantinischer Zeit. Da spätantiker Perlenschmuck aus der Region nahezu unbekannt ist, gibt der vorliegende Artikel einen formenkundlich-chronologischen Überblick und eine soziologische Bewertung dieser bedeutenden Fundgruppe. |
