Summary: | This article emphasizes the meaning of segmentation of verses as first methodological access to biblical text passages. This method is not included in exegetical textbooks yet, but serves as a tool to support a qualified awareness of biblical texts by students in each phase of their studies. The self-assurance to be an »expert from the very beginning« motivates students to investigate the deeper structures of texts and to get themselves into exegetical methodology. In a first step the author refers to the differences of printed images in various editions of biblical texts. In a second step, students raise their awareness for characteristics by language within the texts. And in the final step they develop their appreciation for the narratological structure of the text. |
