Two Clearings of Goats (1 Kings 20:27): An Interpretation Supported by an Akkadian Parallel

Supported by an Akkadian parallel, a new rendering of 1 Kgs 20:27b is suggested: “The Israelites encamped opposite them (covering) an area of the size of two clearings of goats, while Aram filled the land.”
