Summary: | In Jordan, the study of burial customs hasreceived little attention by researchers due to the fact that there is little archaeological evidence available at the present time. The purpose of this study then is to provide new information on burial customs and patterns during the Epipaleolithic period in Jordan. It analyses these burial patterns, compares them to those in Palestine and also provides information on the developments of these customs from the burial type or from the grave goods recovered along with the skeletal remains and offers an explanation of the social and economic life during that period. |
