| Summary: | This article aims to show how the concept of Biblical inspiration encompasses the action of the Spirit of God: a) upon the books’ authors; b) in the books themselves, insofar as they are received by the Church as inspired books, and c) upon the readerslisteners of those books as Sacred Scripture and Word of God. In this sense, the orientations of Dei Verbum, the Pontifical Biblical Commission’s document on The Interpretation of the Bible in the Church (1993) and some contributions of recent authors are taken into account. The conclusion is that the action of the Holy Spirit in the three aforementioned moments enters within the process of Biblical inspiration. This inspiration is geared towards the communication of God’s word through a written text which becomes a living voice in the present time. The comprehension and actualization of the Bible at different moments form part of the word of God which is transmitted in Tradition together with Scripture. El objetivo del artículo es mostrar cómo el concepto de inspiración bíblica engloba la acción del Espíritu de Dios: a) sobre los autores de los libros; b) en los mismos libros en cuanto que son recibidos por la Iglesia como libros inspirados, y c) en los lectores-oyentes de esos mismos libros como Escritura sagrada y palabra de Dios. Se tienen en cuenta las orientaciones en este sentido de Dei Verbum, del documento de la Pontificia Comisión Bíblica de 1993 sobre La interpretación de la Biblia en la Iglesia, y algunas aportaciones de autores recientes. Se concluye que la acción del Espíritu Santo en los tres momentos señalados entra dentro del proceso de inspiración bíblica, puesto que tal inspiración está orientada a la comunicación de la palabra de Dios mediante un texto escrito que se hace voz viva en el presente. La comprensión y actualización de la Biblia en los diferentes momentos forma parte de la palabra de Dios que se transmite en la Tradición junto con la Escritura. |
