| Summary: | This short note adds recently-published inscriptions that have been excluded from the three main corpora of Palmyrene inscriptions (Hillers and Cussini [PAT], al-As‘ad et al., “Aramaic Inscriptions,” and Yon, “L’épigraphie”), and clarifies details of location and new readings that remain unclear or incorrect in PAT and Yon, “L’épigraphie.” These addenda have come to light through the work of the WPAIP and through my personal forays to museums and into the field. It is the first installation of an occasionally-appearing series. The list contains two parts: Part 1 introduces new inscriptions, listed alphabetically by the city in which they have been photographed; Part 2 updates current location information for previously published inscriptions included in PAT, for which information was incomplete or requires updating. |
