| Summary: | Une analyse attentive du vocabulaire montre que ר׃ désigne une «main», qui peut comprendre également le «bras» et s'étendre jusqu'à l'aisselle, et לגֶרֶ un «pied» , qui peut comprendre également la «jambe» et s'étendre jusqu'à la cuisse, même si dans de très nombreux cas, le sens limité de « main » ou de « pied » est celui qui convient. Quant à ףּכַּ il désigne soit la «main» entière jusqu'au poignet, soit le «pied» entier jusqu'à la cheville. A detail analysis of the vocabulary shows that ר׃ is the designation of the «hand», which could also include the «arm» and expand to the armpit; and that לגֶרֶ is the designation of the «foot», which could include the «leg» and expand to the thigh, even if in many cases, the restricted meaning of «hand» or of «foot» is the fitting one. As toףּכַּ it shows either the complete «hand», up to the wrist, or the complete «foot», up to the ankle. |
