| Summary: | Cet article cherche à évaluer la manière dont le matériau mythologique et les éléments sapientiels du récit de Gn 2-3 s'articulent les uns aux autres. Il défend l'hypothèse d'un processus rédactionnel en trois étapes, la dernière étant une relecture sapientielle tardive qui a introduit la double thématique de la connaissance et de la nudité du premier couple humain. Cette thématique réoriente le récit dans une perspective historique et anthropologique très différente de celle des rédactions antérieures. Elle témoigne d'une réflexion plus philosophique que théologique, adoptant sur la question du mal et de la nature humaine une position proche du courant sapientiel critique (Job, Qohéleth). This article seeks to evaluate the manner in which the mythological material and the wisdom elements in the Gen 2-3 narrative combine with each other. The author defends the hypothesis of a three stage redactional process, the last stage being a late sapiential rereading which introduces two themes, that of the knowledge and the nudity of the first human couple. These themes give the narrative an historical and anthropological perspective which is very different from that of previous compositions. The thinking evident there is more philosophical than theological, adopting a position close to that of critical wisdom (Job, Qohelet) as regards the question of evil and of human nature. |
