| Summary: | Ante el gran interés suscitado en nuestros días por la Escuela de Constanza y la Estética de la Recepción que le es propia, proponemos un ensayo introductorio de alta divulgación, que haga contactar al lector no iniciado con la riqueza literaria y humanística de la susodicha Escuela, y de sus dos grandes pensadores: H. R. Jauss y W. Iker. Desde esta perspectiva jausista, presentamos los tres ángeles bíblicos por excelencia: el ángel de Jacob, el ángel de Getsemaní, y el texto paulino de 2 Cor 12, con el doblón metafórico del "aguijón en la carne" en el "ángel de Satanás", que adquieren así un particular relieve y significatividad en los pintores Gauguin y Picasso. In view of the great interest aroused in our days by the School of Constance and the Aesthetics of Reception that is proper to it, we propose an introductory essay of high disclosure, which makes the uninitiated reader contact with the literary and humanistic wealth of the aforementioned School, and its two great thinkers: H.R. Jauss and W. Iker. From this Jaussian perspective, we present the three biblical angels par excellence: the angel of Jacob, the angel of Gethsemane, and the Pauline text of 2 Cor 12, with the metaphorical doublet of the "thorn in the flesh" and the "angel of Satan", which thus acquire a particular relief and significance with the painters Gauguin and Picasso. |
