Summary: | The concept of ""ideology"" is highly discussed in literary theory. This study wants to demonstrate the value of concept by using it as an interpretive device. After preliminary remarks on the narrative perspective of the text under discussion, it connects this text with the more encompassing ancient ideologies and on slavery. A short survey of the whole of the gospel text demonstrates that Luke's text is a typical mixture of adaptation and critique. This applies also to Luke 12:35-48. |
