Description
Summary:In view of recent studies of Paul's letter to the Galatians, the article reconsiders the evidence of a pre-Pauline origin of the programmatic statement in 3:28, before discussing the logic of Paul's argument and the pragmatic implications of the passage. The case for a pre-Pauline formula is not convincing. The passage is best understood as a conscious statement by the apostle himself - the social and consequences of which only emerged in the course of time.
