Summary: | After two monographs on Lukan texts and theology (The Ascension of the Messiah in Lukan Christology; NovTSup 87; Leiden: Brill, 1997; Judas and the Choice of Matthias: A Study on Context and Concern of Acts 1.15-25; WUNT II.187; Tübingen: Mohr Siebeck, 2004), the present volume contains eight essays by the Dutch scholar Arie Zwiep on various aspects of the book of Acts. At the end of two of these essays, Zwiep has provided a postscript that brings the discussion up to date. The brief introduction (1-6) summarises the essays. |
