The writer of Lev. 26:34-35.43 considers the pre-exilic Sabbath not to be the alleged full moon day, but the weekly rest day, whose non-observance impaires the land (and all what lives on it). Lev 26:43 reveals nothing about the Sabbath having been of special esteem in the exilic generation. 1. Wird die Partikel כי in Lev 16,2 als Subjunktion ״wenn“ und somit 2 bßg als Nebensatz ver¬standen, bietet die Passage eine eindeutige Antwort auf die Frage, wann Aaron das Allerheiligste gefahrlos betre¬ten kann: ״Er wird nicht sterben, wenn ich in der Wolke über der Kapporst erscheine“. 2. Der Verfasser von Lev 26,34-35.43 setzt den vorexilischen Sabbat nicht als den vermeintlichen Vollmondtag, sondern als den wöch-entlichen Ruhetag voraus, dessen Nichtbeachtung das Land (und die, die darauf leben,) beeinträchtigt hat; davon, dass der Sabbat in der Exilsgeneration eine besondere Hochschätzung erfahren haben soll, lässt 26,43 nichts erkennen. |
