| Summary: | Esta reflexão pergunta pelo papel da Bíblia na legitimização da guerra contra o povo palestino em Gaza e na Cisjordânia ao longo de pelo menos 75 anos; procura enten- der o sionismo que sustenta a Israel na ocupação militar da Palestina e os modos de comunicação e reprodução desta "ideia-força" na cultura de massas, no campo reli- gioso em especial nos usos fundamentalistas da Bíblia; a reflexão identifica proble- mas e desafios para a hermenêutica latino-americana e possíveis críticas necessários sobre sionismo, colonialismo, militarismo, patriarcalismo e apartheid; o pensamento que articula diversos níveis de opressão, sem necessidade de hierarquia, oferece so- lidariedade ativa com a Palestina Livre e as condições de também libertar o texto bíblico de toda forma de opressão. This reflection asks about the role of the Bible in legitimizing the war against the Palestinian people in Gaza and the West Bank over at least 75 years; seeks to un-derstand the Zionism that supports Israel in the military occupation of Palestine and the ways of communicating and reproducing this “idea-force” in mass culture, in the religious field, especially in fundamentalist uses of the Bible - with experience of some hermeneutical exercises; the reflection identifies problems and challenges for Latin American hermeneutics and possible necessary criticisms of Zionism, colonia-lism, militarism, patriarchalism and apartheid; only thought that articulates different levels of oppression, without the need for hierarchy, offers active solidarity with Free Palestine and the conditions to also free the biblical text from all forms of oppression. |
