| Summary: | El artículo introduce al tema del colonialismo y el genocidio como claves de lectura de la realidad de Palestina y de los textos bíblicos. Parte de un breve recuento del genocidio en Ruanda (1994), para luego mencionar las raíces coloniales del genoci- dio en Palestina. El dolor, el sufrimiento, los asesinatos, la sangre, más que palabras, son realidades que atraviesan los cuerpos y nos desafían a releer el texto de la muerte de Jesús en el Evangelio de Marcos. Una lectura que apunta hacia la necesidad de superación de lecturas espiritualistas, teologías sacrificiales que refuerzan el indivi- dualismo y se distancian de la solidaridad y del compromiso para con las víctimas. The article introduces the theme of colonialism and genocide as keys to reading the reality of Palestine and the biblical texts. It starts with a brief synthesis of the genocide in Rwanda (1994), and then mentions the colonial roots of the genocide in Palestine. The pain, the suffering, the murders, the blood, more than words, are realities that pierce the body and challenge us to reread the text of the death of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark. A perspective that points to the need to overcome spiritualistic readings, sacrificial theologies that reinforce individualism and distance themselves from solidarity and commitment to the victims. |
