| Summary: | Estudiar la carta a los Filipenses y abordar bíblica y teológicamente las teorías sobre las nuevas masculinidades son tareas pendientes que poco se evidencian en la inves- tigación teológica latinoamericana. Por ello, este artículo presenta perspectivas her- menéuticas que aborden esta teoría de género vista desde la carta paulina haciendo un recorrido que empiece por develar el lugar de la interpretación bíblica que vincule el texto con las nuevas masculinidades, una aproximación que revele la masculinidad de Pablo en su comunidad según esta carta, hasta la persuasión sobre la importancia de una teología crítica de las relaciones de género vividas a favor de unas masculi- nidades libres y humanizadas. Interpretar Flp 2,19-24 con esta intención puede abrir caminos de comprensión sobre este aspecto de la vida del Pablo histórico. The study of the letter to the Philippians and the biblical and theological approach to the theories on the new masculinities are pending tasks that are not very evident in Latin American theological research. For this reason, this article presents hermeneu-tical perspectives that address this gender theory seen from the Pauline letter, making a journey that begins by unveiling the place of biblical interpretation that links the text with the new masculinities, an approach that reveals the masculinity of Paul in his community according to this letter, to the persuasion of the importance of a criti-cal theology of gender relations lived in favor of free and humanized masculinities. Interpreting Phil 2:19-24 with this intention can open ways of understanding this aspect of the life of the historical Paul. |
