Description
Summary:A new stela was discovered in the recent excavation of ZAHi HAWASS nearth,e pyramid of Teti at Saqqara. The stela was found on the floor of the burial chamber of one of the shafts near the pyramid and belongs to a person called lj'-Pt/:l, who held an important title: the supervisor of the chariot of the lord of the two lands. ltis made of limestone. The stela shows Kha-Ptah and his wife Mutemwia worshipping Osiris and in the lower level, we can see the couple sitting in front of an offering table while their children, three standing boys and three sitting girls, appear in front of them. Through the artistic style of the stela, it can be dated to the 19th Dynasty.
