Description
Summary:Syllabus for biblical studies at teachers’ training colleges A comparison of syllabi used at various Colleges reveals a very varied picture, which creates serious problems regarding the inter-changeability of courses and the preparation of students for the prescribed school syllabi because of discrepancies in approach and content. Suggestions are made as to possible ways of alleviating this discrepancy and attention is drawn to the difference in approach to Biblical Studies between the student at a Teachers’ Training College and a student in Theology, with special reference to the language requirements and exegetical proficiency.
