Description
Summary:To produce a dictionary of semantic domains for Bible translators and exegetes requires new innovative thinking (paradigm shift). There is a need for comparable clarification in the field of Old and New Testament semantics and lexicography. An appropriate sort of dictionary for translators is not, however produced simply by omitting a certain type of information from existing dictionaries. Semantic domains are classifications that cannot, and should not, be attempted prematurely.
